Renato Crestincov

Hello and Welcome to São Paulo!

My name is Renato and I’m a curious and dedicated local guide in São Paulo who loves exploring outsides, visiting museums and galleries, hiking, enjoying the beach, meeting different people from different places of the world and I am passionate about languages and cultures.
I am a licensed regional guide in the state of São Paulo, and I’m also a licensed tour leader in the Brazilian territory, and for trips in South America departing from Brazil.

Languages is one of my great passions – besides Portuguese, I speak English, French and Spanish – and I’m currently studying Guarani, which is a major indigenous language in Brazil and official language in Paraguay together with Spanish. Besides being a tour guide, I also teach English, French and Portuguese as a foreign language. I started teaching English when I was 18 and I have also worked as a tour manager for international artists performing in Brazil and as PR for tourism & lifestyle brands.

I’m currently taking a master’s in foreign languages and translation at USP – my bachelor’s is in communications, and I have also studied tourism and international relations.

Travelling and discovering new cultures is something I am also passionate about, but not more than discovering and rediscovering Brazil and our own culture day by day – I love Brazilian music, interior designs, visual arts, fashion, gastronomy, architecture, history and culture. I was born and raised in São Paulo and I’m thankful for being able to live my life in this fascinating city where we can discover and explore much of the rich culture from every region of Brazil and the world.
